Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre Events

Hop on in to the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre for Easter Hoppenings on Saturday, April 20th!  The program will run from 1 – 2:30pm and is recommended for children ages 3 to 10.  They will go on an Easter egg hunt, decorate a sugar cookie and create a work of art!  Pre-registration is required.  Go to wsmuseum.ca for more info.

Celebrate International Museum Day with FREE admission to the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre on Saturday, May 18!  The Museum will have an Open House and will offer FREE admission from 12-4pm.  Learn about all the facility has to offer – rentals, summer camps, exhibits, events and programs.  Go to wsmuseum.ca for more info!

Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre Events

Register your children for the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre’s March Break Camp: Around the World!  The camp will run Monday through Friday, March 11- 15th from 9am to 4pm.  Your kids will discover inventions and dream up their own.  Includes crafts, games and more!  Recommended ages: 5-12.  Pre-registration is required.  Go to wsmuseum.ca for more info!

Come to the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre for an amazing workshop that you won’t want to miss: The Art of Marmalade!  The workshop will run on Saturday, March 30th from 12-4pm.  Master preserver, Camilla Wynne will share the storied history and modern day recipes of marmalade. You will sample different styles and flavours, and learn safe canning practices and the science of preserving. You will prepare two different marmalades and take home a jar of each.  Pre-registration is required.  Go to wsmuseum.ca for more info!

Latcham Art Centre Call for Entries:  2019 Annual Juried Exhibition

Don’t miss your chance to be included in this anticipated group exhibition! Latcham Art Centre is looking for submissions in all media for our Annual Juried Exhibition.  Open to artists living and working in Ontario. A maximum of two recent original artworks (2017-2019) may be submitted by each artist and must be dropped off in person at Latcham Art Centre on Monday, March 4 between 11am and 8pm. Learn More
