Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre Events

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre has an exciting new exhibit: Archaeology Alive: The Jean Baptiste Lainé Site and Whitchurch-Stouffville.  This exhibit will explore the amazing archaeological site that was uncovered in Whitchurch-Stouffville between 2003 and 2005.  You will engage with artifacts on loan from the Canadian Museum of History and the Huron-Wendat Museum, a 3-D gaming experience, and oral histories from Huron-Wendat nation members.  Follow www.townofws.ca/waybackinws for updates. 

Come to the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre on Sunday, August 11th (Rain Date: August 18th) for the 46th Annual Antique & Classic Car Show!  The Car Show will run from 11am to 4pm.  Exhibitors from across southern Ontario will display their prized antique & classic cars!  This family event includes food vendors, music and children & heritage activities.  Go to www.townofws.ca/museum for more info!

Register your children for a P.A. Day Workshop at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre. Get Cooking! will run on Monday, September 23rd from 9am to 4pm.  Your children will learn to prepare a variety of seasonal recipes in both a modern and a historic kitchen!  Pre-registration is required and the workshop is recommended for children ages 5-12.  Go to www.townofws.ca/museum for more info!
